Blood Drive: Our center holds Blood Drives every month. Our next Blood Drive will take place on Thursday December 4th at the Hunt Union Ballroom. Sign-ups are available at Mills and Wilsbach dining halls. Click on the calendar for times and dates.

Description: Volunteers are needed to help out with open gallery hours at CANO. Assistance is needed with set up and clean up.
The Children’s Center
Date & Times: Monday-Friday 9:00-4:30pm (9-12 or 1-4:30)
Description: looking for a student to commit for the whole semester to volunteer at the Children’s Center (day care). **NEED A CAR**
Hearts of Hope
Location: Can Be Done Anywhere
Description: Great for clubs or organizations to participate in. Each ceramic heart kit costs four dollars. You receive each kit and paint them however you desire and then they are sent to a person who is on a waiting list for one.

Literacy Volunteers of Otsego & Delaware Counties
Location: Center Street
Description: This organization is seeking tutors for basic literacy, English as second language, and digital literacy. Training is provided. **For more information, stop by the office**
Time: 4pm-6:15 pm
Location: 18 Elm Street
Description: Volunteers are asked to serve food and also clean up. Servers will help serve clients and clean dining area and kitchen Come to the office for available dates **Four people are needed for each date**
Main Street Baptist Church Childcare
Time: 9:30am and 10:15am/10:30am-11:45am/6:00pm-7:45pm
Location: Main Street Baptist Church
Description: The church has several children’s programs and is frequently looking for volunteers to assist. Every Sunday morning they have classes for children and need the extra assistance.
Description: Volunteers are needed to table for Fashion in Action fundraiser.
Oneonta Adult Education
Date: throughout the semester
Location: 31 Center Street
Description: Volunteers are needed to assist in inventory of books, clerical work, filing, etc.
Robynwood Adult Home Reading
Location: 43 Walnut Street
Description: 1-5 volunteers are needed to commit to every week school is in session on Saturdays at 10am to read to the residents. (Could be a group but just need at least one person there a week)
Salvation Army Thrift Shop
Time: 9-5 Mon & Tues; 9-8 Wed & Thurs; 9-5 Fri & Sat, 2 hours at a time/day
Location: 105 Main Street, Across from the Bus Stop
Description: Volunteers are needed to help out in the store.
Date: Saturdays throughout the school year
Location: First United Methodist Church on 66 Chestnut Street
Description: Volunteers are asked to help with set-up, food preparation, and clean-up. Volunteer your time individually or go with a group of friends.
*Five people are needed per Saturday. Slots fill up fast, so don’t wait!!
United Way Office Assistant/Intern
Date: Monday- Friday
Location: 31 Maple Street
Description: volunteers are needed to help create new media, such as brochures, work on website and general office help. **Students must do at least two hours at a time**

YMCA Maintenance Dept.
Description: a female volunteer is needed to help clean women/girls/family locker rooms. They also need volunteers for grounds keeping.
