Information for teaching faculty regarding the service-learning designation (SL) for courses

The Walk for Literacy will be held on Sunday April 27th at Alumni Field House from 12-2 pm.

Upcoming Center Events:

Into the Streets: Join us for the 14th annual Into the Streets! This event is run by the CSRC to reach out and help those in need by giving a day of service. A Team Leader meeting will be held on Thursday, April 17th at Alumni Theatre in Alumni Hall at 7pm. It is mandatory to attend this meeting or to send someone in your place. ¬†You will be receiving your volunteer site at this meeting. The date of the event is Saturday May 3rd so plan your Friday evening accordingly! This is a great event! Don’t miss it! For more information call the CSRC at X2098

Blood Drive: Our center holds Blood Drives every month. Our next Blood Drive will take place on Wednesday April 30th and Thursday May 1st in Lee Hall from 11:30am - 5:15pm. Sign-ups are available at Mills and Wilsbach dining halls. Click on the calendar for times and dates.

Fashion in Action: Take action! Help provide a teachers salary in India, and look stylish at the same time. CSRC is selling scarves, shawls, tapestries, purses, and more, all hand made in India. 100% of the proceeds goes to Indo-International schools, built by the Ninash Foundation to provide free education to the impoverished children of India.

Walk for Literacy: Take a step towards education and participate in this year's Walk for Literacy. One out of five people are illiterate. The walk will be held on Sunday, April 27th in Alumni Field House from 12-2 pm. Registration begins at 11:30 am. There is a $5 registration fee. All proceeds will be donated to the Ninash Foundation to help fund schools in India.
