Pre-Matriculated Students

Students who wish to take courses that will assist them in eventually enrolling in a degree program at the College at Oneonta or another institution are considered pre-matriculated students.

Pre-matriculated students fall into two categories:

Non-degree undergraduates- students who have not earned a bachelor's degree.

Non-degree graduates- students who have earned a bachelor's degree but wish to take either undergraduate or graduate courses as a non-degree.

All pre-matriculated students must apply to take courses by filling out a non-degree application and submitting it with any official transcripts from previous institutions or a copy of high school transcript or copy of GED to the Office of Continuing Education, 135 Netzer Admin. Building, Oneonta, NY 13820. Students must be in good academic standing at previous institution to be eligible for non-degree admission (at least a 2.0 overall gpa).

Note: Students who previously attended SUNY Oneonta as a degree-seeking student should contact the Academic Advisement Office, Netzer 100 for information on readmission to the College.
