Expand your Horizons: Non-credit Courses

The Office of Continuing Education, with the support of the Hunt College Union and OAS, has invested in offering non-credit personal enrichment courses, in an effort to provide you and your family with engaging opportunities to enrich your life.

We anticipate being able to offer a selection of courses each semester. So please check back often if you do not see something of interest this semester.

We look forward to serving you and having you visit our campus.

2 Easy ways to register:

Option 1: Register by phone at 607-436-2548, with a visa or mastercard.

Option 2: Print a copy of the registration form and fax, mail, or deliver it to the Office of Continuing Education.

Payment must be received before your registration can be confirmed.

Please note that SUNY College at Oneonta will charge $20.00 for any returned check.

Each course requires a minimum number of registrants to run.  As a general rule, a final decision to run or cancel a course will be made one week in advance of the scheduled start date.

Refund Policy:

The non-credit courses offered through Continuing Education are all self-supporting.  Therefore we rely on registration fees to pay the instructors as well as any supplies or equipment needed for the course.  Accordingly, we will be happy to issue a full refund up to five business days prior to the starting date of the class or the advertised registration deadline.  These requests can be made directly to Continuing Education, 436-2548.

Cancellations:

If the College cancels any course for any reason, those pre-registered for that course will be notified by email (provided that an email is provided), and payments will be refunded by check.  SUNY Oneonta reserves the right to substitute instructors, adjust pricing, and/or reschedule classrooms if necessary.  In the event of severe weather it may be necessary to cancel or reschedule particular course sessions.  Announcements of emergency cancellations will be made on WSKR.

SUNY College at Oneonta does not advocate any particular point of view presented in the non-credit courses offered by the Office of Continuing Education.
