Office of Continuing Education

The Office of Continuing Education at SUNY College at Oneonta provides opportunities for traditional and non-traditional non-degree students. The non-degree admission status allows learners to enroll in courses with out seeking a degree at the College.

Continuing Education Students are classified into four groups:

• Pre-Matriculated- those planning on enrolling into a degree program at Oneonta or another institution

• Life Long Learners- those wishing to take credit bearing courses for personal or professional enrichment but have no intention of ever seeking a degree at Oneonta

• Visiting Students -those enrolled in a degree program at another institution but wish to take courses here to transfer back to their home institution
  
  
• High School Students- those currently enrolled in high school who wish to take college level coursework (must be senior status or a rising senior to apply)
