| Continuing Education at SUNY College at Oneonta provides opportunities for traditional and non-traditional non-degree students. The non-degree admission status allows learners to enroll in courses with out seeking a degree at the College. |
| Non-credit courses- Expand your Horizons! |
Continuing Education Students are classified into four groups:
- Life Long Learners- those wishing to take courses for personal or professional enrichment but have no intention of ever seeking a degree at Oneonta.
- Visiting Students -those enrolled in a degree program at another institution but wish to take courses here to transfer back to their home institution.
- Pre-Collegiate- those currently enrolled in high school who wish to take college level coursework.

All students regardless of classification, need to fill out a non-degree application.
