This track is for students interested in the production aspects of the mass media, including journalism. Several former majors from this department have gone on to careers in television production, film production and broadcast journalism.

Internships Internships opportunities are available for Mass Communication Majors. Students should plan in advance to secure an internship for their Junior or Senior year by consulting with the Department's Internship Coordinator. Internship placements are available across New York State and throughout the Northeast, with a wide variety of agencies and businesses currently participating.
