Cooperstown Graduate Program

CGP events

There are a variety of events that reinforce and support student's experience in the classroom. Every other fall, the school holds the CGA Conference. In the spring, first-year students organize Interview Weekend, a three-day opportunity for applicants and faculty members to learn more about each other. Throughout the year, there are also a number of occasions for formal receptions at Fenimore Art Museum.

Less formally, CGP tends to be a tight-knit community, and frequent get-togethers provide faculty and students the opportunity to get-to-know each other outside the school setting. Events range from roller skating, to movie nights, to frequent potluck dinners. Sprinkled throughout the year are annual events such as the welcome picnic, the all-school holiday party, and the CGP graduation celebration. Occasional student theme-parties also provide a social outlet. Group recreation may include bowling, board games, frisbee, wiffle-ball, and sledding, depending upon the season.
