support CGP
In 2005, CGP applied for a challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Over the course of the next two years, CGP raised over $640,000, surpassing the original goal by over $40,000, and successfully completed the Building on Excellence campaign, on July 1, 2006. This challenge grant and the money raised to match it increased the financial support for CGP and the services it provides to museums, cultural institutions across the country, and our local community.
But the NEH grant is only the beginning. CGP must continue to increase its endowments to ensure the premier quality of its training program and that future students receive the financial support they need to attend graduate school today. The field depends on enthusiastic, talented, and skilled professionals; finances should not be the issue that hinders students with the necessary qualities from pursuing their dreams or from receiving the training to meet their professional needs.
We must give students the ever-expanding skills and experience needed to ensure the future of American museums and cultural institutions throughout the world. Help us to continue to provide them with the most and best that we can. We need your gifts. Please give a donation today - Click here to donate.
