Dr. Roosa completed her B.S. in Biology at SUNY Oswego and her Ph.D. in the field of Molecular and Integrative Physiology at Cornell University. She joined Oneonta faculty in 2016, and she teaches courses related to anatomy, physiology, and toxicology. Her research interests include reproductive aging and toxicology in female mammals. She is currently working to characterize the molecular changes that occur in ovarian follicles as females age and investigating the impact of biological rhythms on ovarian toxicity.
