| SUNY Oneonta Biological Field Station at Cooperstown | ||||||
Master of Science (MS) in Lake Management This degree program is being offered by the Biology Department at the SUNY College at Oneonta and is now accepting applicants for admission in the Fall 2011 semester. Recipients of this degree will meet the requirements to apply for certification as Lake Manager (CLM) by the North American Lake Management Society (NALMS). The 2-year program will include 32 hours of theory, field and laboratory experience as well as thesis research involving the development and implementation of a lake management plan and monitoring of short-term responses. Venues include freshwater watersheds involving invasive species, aquatic weed control, fisheries, and water quality.
