Cashman enters her ninth season at the helm of the Red Dragon volleyball program.  Last season the squad finished with a 23-17 record while appearing in both the SUNYAC and NYSWCAA tournament.  The squad also earned the program’s third ECAC tournament birth, its first since 1997.

In 2005 Cashman eclipsed 200 wins as a head coach in a win against Elmira.  In 10 years as a head coach she has an overall record of 229-182.

In 2002 after she guided the Red Dragons to a 31-13 season and the program’s first SUNYAC title and NCAA berth, Cashman was honored by being selected as the Coach of the Year for both the SUNYAC and the NYSWCAA.  At the

completion of the 2000 season she was selected as the Conference's Coach of the Year after the squad qualified for the SUNYAC Tournament for the first time since 1997.

During an association with Binghamton University that began in 1989 as an assistant coach for the volleyball program, Cashman spent time as a player for two seasons in 1994 and 1995 and was the head coach for the 1997 and 1998 seasons.  As a player, Cashman led the program to its first ever SUNYAC title and NCAA berth while earning Regional All-America honors. In her first season as the head coach she guided the Colonials to their second NCAA Div. III Tournament berth in 1997 and, in 1998, her squad advanced to the semifinals of the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament as a Div. II team.

Cashman just recently completed her degree requirements for a Master's in Social Science from Binghamton and will graduate in December of 2007. She holds an associate's degree in business administration in 1984 from Broome Community College and is a 1996 graduate of Binghamton University where she received a bachelor's degree in English.

Cashman currently serves as the Southern Region representative on the NYSWCAA Seeding Committee. Throughout her nine seasons, Cashman has served on various regional committees while also serving five years as the Chair of the NYSWCAA Volleyball Committee.  She has also served as the Vice-Chair of the SUNYAC Volleyball Committee and was the SUNYAC Representative for the NCAA Regional seeding and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)will continue to serve this fall on the NCAA regional seeding and American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Region selection committee.

Cashman was promoted to Senior Woman Administrator in the Spring of 2007 and she is also the CHAMPS (Challenging Athletes Minds through Personal Success) Coordinator.
