Assessment
of Student Learning at SUNY College at Oneonta
Faculty
and staff at Oneonta place great emphasis on the specific
knowledge and skills their students acquire as a result
of their educational program. This emphasis reflects
and reinforces the focus in today’s
higher education context on the assessment of student
learning.
This website has been designed to provide Oneonta faculty
and staff with information and pertinent resources useful
in their efforts to assess and report their assessment
of the College’s academic programs, which includes
assessment of student learning. This site is intended
to serve as a gateway to information and resources specific
to Oneonta as well as others promulgated by the Middle
States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), the College’s
regional accreditor, SUNY System Administration, and
specialized accreditors such as NCATE and AACSB.
This website was jointly developed by the Office of
the Associate Provost for Institutional Assessment and
Effectiveness (APIAE) and the Teaching Learning and Technology
Center (TLTC).
