The
Painting area of SUNY Oneonta provides opportunities for students to explore
various painting mediums. Courses in this area encourage students to learn
fundamental to advanced processes in oils, acrylics, encaustic, and watercolor.
Painting problems are designed to insure a wide range of technical skill,
and an understanding of the coordination of advanced uses of space via abstractions
and representational imagery. Both traditional and contemporary painting
techniques are presented. |
