The images combine unexpected beauty with an insight into humanity's impact on the planet. As part of the exhibit, "Just Around The Corner," an award-winning documentary by John Miglietta, will be shown on Tuesday, October 9, at 7 p.m. in the Hamblin Theatre. The film features high school students from New York City and the Oneonta area reflecting on challenges they may face as a result of economic, environmental, and social disruptions resulting from climate change. As a third component of the exhibit, David Kenny and Michael Wyshock will display "Window Vision," a video installation of natural environments highlighting the distinction between animal-to-earth and human-to-earth adaptations.

One Account
I saw a steeple slant the clouds
fall a roof sail past hands
outstretched a city beg an empty
sky a promise made fingers point
a family swoon a thud a thirst
streets fill like pneumonic lungs
dogs in packs men bare teeth
a man who swam in his house three days
a mother tether her child with cord
we scatter upon the wind like seeds
this pain will bloom across the land
