Exhibition opportunity !

Exhibit your work in the New Gallery room 165

Art Student Exhibition Opportunity
2007-2008

The New Gallery, Room 165 

There are 5 exhibition opportunities available, art majors are encouraged to submit exhibition proposals.

#1 October 15-November 9th 
(4 weeks, install October 12th, take down November 12th) Deadline for proposals October 1st.

#2 November 28-December 20th (3 weeks, install November 26th, take down December 21st) Deadline for proposals November 5th.

#3 March 3rd -13th (2 weeks, install March 1st,take down March 14th) Deadline for proposals February 4th.

#4 April 7 th-April 22nd (2 weeks, install April 3rd, take down April 23rd) Deadline for proposals March 10th. 

#5 April 28th -May 17th Senior Group Show (3 weeks, install April 24th, take down May 17th) Deadline March 17th.

A written proposal must be submitted to the Gallery Director. Proposals will be reviewed by the gallery advisory committee for selection.

Proposals to include: Names, phone numbers and address of all exhibitors.  Name of student spokes person to represent group shows and the name of a faculty advisor.  Show Title and description, date for proposed show, visual material, at least 20 examples of anticipated exhibition works on CD, DVD or equivalent supporting material. 

Deadline for proposals:  Deadlines noted above. Proposals will be accepted immediately.     Submit proposals to Tim Sheesley, Gallery Director, Room 160 FA (436-2445).   The Gallery Director and the Gallery Advisory Committee will review and accept proposals.

The New Gallery will be open from 11am-5pm daily when school is in session. It may also be opened for special evening events. All promotional materials and security is the responsibility of the exhibitors.   Student work will not be insured. The college, art department, gallery director, and faculty sponsor will in no way be responsible for works shown.
