Michael Koch, former doughnut maker and oyster farmer, is the faculty advisor of the Oneonta Undergraduate Philosophy Conference, Oneonta Philosophy Club, and Chair of the Oneonta Philosophy Department. Trained in the Humanities and Social Theory, his philosophical interests include liminality and the other to philosophy. Recently he completed the first philosophical enquiry into the thought of Henry Adams, American Thinking: The Miseducation of Henry Adams. Koch loves the coupled spaces of mountain-river-sea and human powered travel within and between such spaces.
