SouzaDr. Caridad Souza received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. While she teaches several ethnic studies and gender studies/women's studies courses, US Latina ethnography is her primary research area. Faculty advisor to several student clubs including Sista to Sista and Students for Global Education, Dr. Souza co-leads a troupe of SUNY-Oneonta students to Ghana during the winter intersession.
