 H. Zahra Caldwell, a 2010-12 dissertation fellow, is a lecturer in the departments of Africana and Latino Studies and History. A former elementary school teacher with degrees in history, Black studies, political science, and teaching, she is currently a doctoral candidate in African American Studies at the University of Massachusetts.
