Academic members will serve for a maximum of two three-year terms. Ex-officio members are permanent members of the ETC, based on their offices. All committee appointments will be made on an academic year basis, effective from September through August.
Meetings are held biweekly, as scheduling permits, during fall and spring semesters and other times as necessary.
Seven voting members (a majority of whom must be members of the classroom teaching faculty) must be present to have a quorum.
Minutes of the meetings shall be recorded, posted on the web site, and distributed by email to Committee members.
All meetings are open to the members of the campus community.
The Technology Steering Committee (TSC) is a group whose function is to coordinate technology at the College at Oneonta. The TSC organizes the activities of the ETC and addresses issues related to Academic Information Technology Services (AITS), including the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center (TLTC), Administrative Computing Services, and Telecommunications. The TSC consists of the Chair, Vice-Chair, and past Chair of the ETC, the Associate Provost for Library and Information Services and the Associate Vice-President for Administration & Technology. Members of the TSC also attend and participate in the Student Technology Initiative Advisory Committee.
